Mancala is one of the oldest known two player board games in the world, believed to have been created in ancient times. It is widely believed that Arab traders brought the game with them when traveling and it quickly spread all over Africa and the world. Come learn and play this popular African pastime with us.
This is an in person continuation to our 2020 virtual workshop, Mancala: Math, Strategy, Prestige.
In this workshop you will learn how to create and decorate your own mancala board from items in your own home and then you will learn the skills to play the game!
This workshop will be limited occupancy so to secure your seat you must register through the Eventbrite link below.
Seats are limited and we ask that if you do register that you please arrive on time for the workshop so that the space can be utilized.
